ELA 9A & 9B
The students read for ten minutes. Then they had time to finish typing out their 15 lines of poetry from the 16 or so poems they have written in the past weeks. This poetry summative needs to be turned in on Google Classroom and a paper coy given to Miss Riddell by Friday, October 13th. Anyone resubmitting their sonnet must also print out a revised copy for Miss Riddell by Friday.
After finishing their poetry the students had a chance to create Book Spine poetry, which we're entering in a CBC contest. Below are some examples of Book Spine poetry:

Today we started discussing Spreadsheets such as Excel or Google Sheets. We watched two introductory videos:

Three students were in the Chaise Chaud. Then we introduced pronouns, took notes, and practiced them.
