ELA 9 A&B
CATs (Canadian Achievement Tests) have commenced. The students were very focused today. Thanks for doing your best. Remember these tests are used to help your teachers to help you. We do not place these results on Report Cards but students and their parents will be able to make an appointment to review the results once they have been scored.
On another note have you ever watched a cute CAT video on the Internet? They are very popular and actually can act as a form of animal therapy. If you need to de-stress after today's CATs watch these CATS:
COMPUTERS 8
The students continued using the SCRATCH programming language to make a program that will spell out their name. They are mostly done writing out the coordinates they need for each letter and some have even started the programming. We will be working on this project for one more class (on Thursday) before it becomes homework.

The students went through the Chaise Chaud (Hot Seat) questions and practiced with a partner. We reviewed the alphabet, days of the week, and numbers to 20. Then we began learning about pronouns.
