COMPUTERS 8

The students continued working with Spreadsheets.  Today we discussed the following formulae:

To total a column, highlight and hit the SUM key which will make the formula =SUM(Cell:Cell)

example:  =SUM(C2:G2)   

You can also add by using the + sign, example:  =C2+D2+E2

To average a column, highlight and hit the AVG key which will make the formula =AVERAGE(Cell:Cell)   example:  =AVERAGE(C2:G2)    

You can also do this by adding and dividing, example:  =(C2+C3+C4)/3

To subtract values use the - sign, example:  =C6-H2

To multiply values use the * key, example:  =C7*A2   or   =C12*3

To divided values use the / key, example:  =C8/C3  or =C12/4

ELA 9A

The class read for 10 minutes and then started watching "Storming Juno" and doing a viewing activity on the video.  If you were absent please come at lunch tomorrow to watch what you missed.

FRENCH 7A

Three students were in the Chaise Chaud.  We then reviewed the pronouns and the verb AVOIR (to have).  The students finished correcting a sheet we started last day.  The students then practiced further with some card games.  Students will be having a quiz on the verb AVOIR on Wednesday, October 18th.  Please start studying.

ELA 9B

The class read for 10 minutes and then watch "Storming Juno" and did a viewing activity on the video. If you were absent please come at lunch tomorrow to watch half of what you missed.

ELA 9A & 9B *Remember tomorrow is the last day to re-submit sonnets and your 15 lines of Poetry Summative is due.  I need printed copies submitted and they should be turned in on Google Classroom.
