ELA 9

It was great to see, talk, and visit with so many of you yesterday.  It is definitely a new world that we are all adjusting to right now. I'm glad everyone is staying healthy, social distancing, and washing their hands.

I created new Google Classrooms for grade 9.  The link and code to sign up can be found below.  Please sign up if you have not already done so.  On this Google Classroom you will find:
a)  a recording of yesterday's Google Hangout meeting, with your grade, if you missed it
b)  information on how to join future ones
c) a survey about ELA
d) a writing task

As we discussed yesterday.  Teachers will either be posting things to their original Google Classroom pages (example:  Math) or to the new larger Google Classroom.  I am going to post all future ELA assignments to the the new page.  If you did not opt into ELA you are still free to complete any tasks that interest you.  Other teachers are going to make some collaborative projects, which will also be posted to these pages.  For example there might be an assignment/task that involves Science, ELA, Computers, and Art.

Please remember we want you to take care of yourself and your family so if you decide to opt out of a task that if fine.  We realize everyone is processing the pandemic differently, plus everyone has different access to technology.  Teachers will be posting a variety of tasks on Google Classroom pages and you can decide what and how much you complete. Do not feel you must do everything posted but you definitely can if you want to. Take care and stay safe!
