Today we reviewed "The Hill" one more time by playing three Kahoots. Then one student wrote the exam and one student watched the video of yesterday's story "A Roar of Thunder." Both students wrote descriptive paragraphs and we did a vocabulary study to get ready for tomorrow's story "The Open Window." IT is posted on Google Classroom if you were absent.

Today we did Analogies and Summarizing. There are reminder videos below. For analogies remember the form is to look like this: VALENTINE'S DAY : FEBRUARY as CHRISTMAS : December. Underline your answer.
If you get stuck look up the words in dictionary.com or google them. For summarizing you will read paragraphs 2, 3, and 4 and then write the most important information in 25 words or less. Use complete sentences. Don't forget to use headings and margins, numbers and spacing. This section is a summative. If your notebook is at school use loose leaf to do your work.
We also watched this video about some of the most famous haunted houses.
