The students filled out a chart about Jared and Kyle's survival techniques, including: food, water, shelter, supplies, and so on. Then they watched the movie "Far From Home - The Adventures of Yellow Dog." Next they filled in the chart for Angus and Yellow's survival techniques and wrote a paragraph about how the novel and the film were the same and how they were different. They had a few minutes to continue work on their final project. This Friday will be the final exam for the novel "The Hill."
ELA 7C
Today the students had time to finish their rough draft and we discussed some editing strategies. Students must have their rough draft completed for tomorrow so they can do some peer editing.
