We all took a quiz to discover our Spirit Animal. Then we made a poster with some information about the spirit animal.
Next we did vocabulary words for chapter seventeen, read the chapter, and did the chapter questions. Good work everyone!

ELA 7C
Some students went to the library for new books. We finished up an corrected the vocabulary words. Then we did the next section on Fill-Ins. Everyone made sure to do a nice heading, add the date, and then neatly copy and finish the sentences in their notebooks. If you are not sure of a word you can use one of these strategies:
a) see what word(s) are left at the end
b) use your vocabulary notes (or www.dictionary.com) to check the words meanings
c) re-read the article to see how the words were used in the text
We'll correct on Monday. Students also got some time for silent reading, typing tutor, and we went for a short walk. We also watched the following video on the Loch Ness Monster:
