SENIOR FRENCH

Today we discussed reflexive verbs and watched a video on how to conjugate them.  I have sheets for those who were absent.  Orally, most students shared a reflexive verb and when they did that action.
Example:  À sept heures je me réveille.  (At seven (am) I wake up.)

CAREERS 7 Blue

Today the students finished watching "Hoot" and looking for virtues displayed by different characters.  We discussed the values displayed by Beatrice and Mullet.  We'll finish discussing Roy and Dana next class and do a wrap-up activity.  If you missed class see Miss Riddell to set up a time to watch next week.

CAREERS 8B

The students heard a story about Mira who thought the only thing she could do in school was math so she left school at 16.  Later she realized she had skills with mechanics and she went back to school to get more education so she could get a better job.  She found out she was a visual/spatial, bodily/kinesthetic, and logical/mathematical learner according to the multiple intelligences test.  As a result she changer her learning style - writing down everything and drawing or building a model to help her remember information.  She realized she was a talented beadworker and had different ways of being smart.

Then students are to create a poster (on Google Classroom) that includes:
- your name
- a picture of you
- 3-5 interests
- 3-5 skills
- 3-5 Multiple Intelligences
- your Learning Style with an example
- your Personalty Type with an example

On the next page write a paragraph telling about your skills, interests, and styles, and how they will help you in a future job. Be specific and give details.

If you haven't signed up for Classroom the class code is: 1ve1ami
