ASSEMBLY
We started with a back to school assembly as our Bell Schedule has changed and we have added in Warrior Time this year. We now have periods 1-3 in the morning, period 4 after lunch, followed by 32 minutes of Warrior Time, and finally period 5. Students were put in home rooms, which will meet for Warrior Time every Wednesday. Once Warrior Time is up and running students will be signing up for 2 week stints in either a Core Subject area, a homework time or an enrichment area. This will give students time to either work on improving or finishing assessments or spend time learning something new.
FRENCH 7A
It is great to meet this year's grade sevens. Welcome to UCHS! We discussed expectations and went through a course outline. The students also filled out a "getting to know you" sheet.
ELA 9B
We discussed expectations and went through a course outline. The students also started to create an Acrostic poem using one of their names and sharing some likes and dislikes. We will be finishing them and sharing with the class tomorrow.
WARRIOR TIME
We met for our first time and went through forms and fees. Please return them by Sept. 12th if possible and Sept. 28th at the latest. Staples forms and one cheque per student together and hand in to me or the office. We also played a Kahoot to review some of the behaviours expected.FRENCH 7B
