FRENCH 10/20/30
We discussed our dads today (in French) and then we reviewed the use of the verbs avoir and être.
Remember we use avoir for:
**Soif (thirst) Faim (hunger) Ans (age) even though in English we would use "to be"
***If we are "dans" or "in" a class we use être BUT if we "have" a class we use avoir.
CAREERS 8B
Today we went through expectations and outcomes for this year. As we only have Careers class once every six days please try not to miss.
We watched the following video and did an interest inventory.
ELA 9B
Today we watched a video about Mindset and discussed the difference between a FIXED (I can't do it) and a GROWTH (I can try it) attitudes. Students then made a list of a few things they do well and we discussed why they did them well. Then we looked at some things they could work on and how they could improve.
FRENCH 8A
The class worked on reviewing our numbers, the days of the week, and the months of the year. Everyone shared their birthday in French.
WARRIOR TIME
The 11A class came to see me today and we watched the same mindset video the grade 9's watched earlier.
ELA 9A
The grade 9's shared their ACROSTIC name poems from yesterday and I presented 5 Book Talks. We also had a few minutes for some silent reading.
