Friday, September 7th (Day 4)

FRENCH 10/20/30

We did a quick review of avoir and être and then had a pop quiz.  The students discussed a sibling in French today.  We reviewed possessives (below) and started to go through some useful adjectives.

ELA 9A

The students had a chance to sign out library books, which they will need to have in class from now on.  We watched a video about Mindset (both fixed and growth) and discussed some areas of strength and some areas needing in improvement and the way that we can make that happen.

ELA 9B

The students all read and set a reading goal (how many pages they can read in 10 minutes).  We then reviewed what we do that helps us learn and discussed what we can and can't control in our lives and learning.

FRENCH 7B

We started to review the French alphabet and numbers.

SPIRIT WEEK NEXT WEEK!  Monday is PJ DAY and the Coop is providing breakfast of a muffin, fruit, and milk.
