ELA 8A

Today the students read silently for ten minutes.  Then we corrected the questions for chapter 12 of Bifocal.  Chapter 13 had a TWL (Think we know, Want to know, and Learned) about Muslims and Islam chart, which we discussed. We watched several videos on subjects that the students identified as wanting to learn more about.  The answers to chapter 12 and the information for chapter will be posted in Google Classroom if you were absent.

SENIOR FRENCH

Today the students discussed things they were doing in the future and the students had to guess the sport they were playing.

example:  

Je vais courir.  Je vais marquer un but. Je vais porter un chandail, un short, et des chaussures de foot.

Je vais frappe un ballon noir et blanc.

(I am going to run.  I am going to score a goal. I am going to wear a jersey, shorts, and football shoes.  I am going to kick a black and white ball.)

Je vais jouer au soccer.  (I am going to play soccer.)

Today the students read silently for ten minutes.  Then we corrected the questions for chapter 5 of "The Outsiders" and read Chapter 6.  Tomorrow will be a vocabulary class.
