COMPUTERS 7 Yellow
Today was our first class for this new round of PAA. We went through expectations and the course outline. Students signed up for our Google Classroom using code: 2tsgilw Then they did the first assignment sharing what they know, what they think they know, and what they want to know about computers and we discussed this. If students have some free time they are encouraged to go on Hour of Code and do some of the activities there.
ELA 8A
The students read for ten minutes. Then we discussed chapters 7 & 8 of "Bifocal." The answers are posted in Google Classroom. We then read chapter 9 and started the questions.
SENIOR FRENCH
Today we practiced future tense by giving clue to a place we were going and the class had to guess the place.
Example:
Je vais porter un t-shirt, un short, et des lunettes de soleil. (I will wear a t-shirt, shorts and sunglasses.)
Je vais manger du vegemite. (I will eat some vegemite.)
Je vais voir un kangourou. (I will see a kangaroo.)
Je vais visiter l'Australie. (I am going to visit Australia.
The students also started a crossword sheet and we went through the time and reflexive summative.
ELA 9A & 9B
The students read for ten minutes. Then we finished correcting chapter 3 of "The Outsiders" before we read chapter 4 and started the questions for that section. We'll correct on Monday.
