COMPUTERS 7 Yellow

The students went through the parts of the computer that they researched last class.

CPU- Central Processing Unit

PSU - Power Supply Unit

GPU - Graphics Processing Unitè

HD - Hard Drive

Motherboard

Then we looked at the actual parts in some computers that were taken apart.

There is a master document on Google Classroom to study before our quiz next class (Monday.)

ELA 8A

The students read silently for ten minutes.  Then we corrected the questions for chapters 10 and 11 from "Bifocal" that we read yesterday, We continued on and read chapter 12 and 13 today. Students are to have completed chapter 12 and 13 for tomorrow.

SENIOR FRENCH

The students continued with future tense today describing a place of business they are going to visit.

Example:

Je vais voir beaucoup de livres. 

Je vais lire un livre.

Je vais emprunter un livre.

Je vais visiter la bibliothèque. 

I am going to see lots of books.  I am going to read a book.  I am going to borrow a book.

I am going to visit the library.

We also finished correcting our sheet from yesterday and made some plans for next week's visit to Parkview Place.

ELA 9A & 9B

The students read for ten minutes silently.  Then we finished reading chapter 5 of "The Outsiders" and the students had time to complete the questions.  We'll correct tomorrow (for 9A) and Friday (for 9B.)
