Tuesday & Wednesday, December 3rd & 4th, 2019 (Day 1 & 2)

ELA 8A

The students read silently for ten minutes at the start of both classes. They read chapters 7 & 8 of "Bifocal" and did the questions and Daily Writes for both. Students handed in chapter 7 questions for marking.

ELA 9A

The students had ten minutes of silent reading both days.  They had one class to edit and finish their descriptive character paragraph. They had time to edit  and a type out a good copy.   If they are not done it is now homework and due at the start of class on Thursday. We also read chapter three of "The Outsiders" and students worked on the questions.

SENIOR FRENCH

The students are working on future tense using the verb aller.  
Example:  Je vais regarder "Grey's Anatomy."  (I am going to watch "Grey's Anatomy.")

ELA 9B

CAREERS 7B 

Today the students started discussing Healthy Relationships, which are essential for every day life and future jobs.  If you were absent you can find the missed notes on Classroom. Next class we are going to work in small groups to make a video about healthy/unhealthy relationships in a work situation.

CAREERS 8B

Today the students discussed an interview they are going to do over the Christmas holidays with someone who is 60 years old or older.  Then we started watching the movie "October Sky" looking for how work and roles have changed since 1957. We'll finish watching next class.
