COMPUTERS 7 Yellow 

Today the students did some research on five hardware components:  CPU, GPU, PSU, HD, and motherboard.  We'll discuss what they found next class.  Most students also had time to sign up for Hour of Code and work on a project.

ELA 9B

The students read for ten minutes.  They finished up the questions for chapter four of "The Outsiders" and we corrected and we read chapter 5 to page 74 (end of first paragraph).

Overdues:  

Outsider Character Description (Dec 4) - Shea, Nic, Wesley

SENIOR FRENCH

The students used future tense to describe a holiday, which the class then guessed.  

Example:

Je vais manger du chocolat. (I am going to eat some chocolate.)

Je vais donner une carte. (I am going to give a card.)

Je vais recevoir des fleurs. (I am going to receive some flowers.)

C'est La Saint Valentin. (It's Valentine's Day.)

The students also completed a crossword and we did the first 7 sentences on page 48. From present to future tense:

J'ai le faim.  (I have hunger / am hungry.)

Je vais avoir le faim.  (I am going to have hunger/ be hungry.)

ELA 8A

The students read silently for ten minutes.  After five minutes work-time we corrected the chapter 9 questions and read chapter 10 & 11 and had some discussion before starting those questions from "Bifocal."

ELA 9A

The students read for ten minutes.  They finished up the questions for chapter four of "The Outsiders" and we corrected and we read chapter 5 to page 77 (halfway down the page).
