SENIOR FRENCH

The students told about their favourite holiday in French.  Then we reviewed regular ER verbs in passé composé.

Example:

MANGER (to eat) --> mangé (past participle for to eat)

J'ai mangé (I ate)

Tu as mangé (You (s) ate)

Il a mangé (He ate)

Elle a mangé (She ate)

Nous avons mangé (We ate)

Vous avez mangé (You (pl) ate)

Ils ont mangé (They (m) ate)

Elles ont mangé (They (f) ate)

FRENCH 7A & 7B

We reviewed the verb AVOIR and practiced some expressions using to have.

*J'ai _______ ans. (I have ____ years.)

*Tu as besoin de ______.  (You (s) have need of _____.)

*Il a peur de _________. (He has fear of ______.)

*Elle a soif . (She has thirst.)

*On a faim. (One has hunger.)

*Nous avons torts. (We have (are) wrong.)

*Vous avez raison. (You (pl) have (are) right.)

*Ils ont sommeil.  (They (m) have (are) sleepy.)

*Elles ont de la chance. (They (f) have luck.)

*Bob a chaud. (Bob has (is) hot.)

*Ann a froid. (Ann has (is) cold.)

The students read for 10 minutes.  Then we watched almost all of the rest of "Storming Juno."  Tomorrow we will be starting CAT testing.  You can't study for this Canadian Achievement Test but please get a good night's sleep and eat a good breakfast to prepare.
