SENIOR FRENCH
Today we discussed our Thanksgivings using past tense. We discussed some various holiday names and the students had time to make corrections on their verb PowToons, which are now due.
FRENCH 8B
Three students were in the Chaise Chaud. We reviewed Avoir and Être with videos and kahoots. Next class Thursday, October 11th will be a test on these verbs. Study!
ELA 9B
The students read for 10 minutes and tallied their reading minutes from last week. Then we started to watch a video called "Storming Juno" about the Canadian assault on Juno Beach during the Second World War. Students made notes on what they saw as they critically viewed the film. If you were absent you'll need to find a noon hour to watch what you missed.
CAREERS 8B
The students started working through the Young Workers Readiness Course. If you were absent or had difficulty logging in please spend some time before next class getting caught up. WEBSITE

The students read for ten minutes and then tallied last week's minutes. They then worked on writing the last group of poems, in the following styles:
