SENIOR FRENCH
Today the students discussed a holiday in French. Then we reviewed IR passé composé using Avoir.
FINIR --> fini

Ils/Elles ont fini
We also practiced counting and played the number game.
FRENCH 8A
The students had time to practice Chaise Chaud but we'll do the actual hot seat next class. They then finished correcting the last sheet. They also wrote 6 sentences, 3 using avoir and 3 using être. These sentences are an assignment on Google Classroom so should be completed there if you were absent.
ELA 9A
The students read for ten minutes. Then they watched the first part of "Storming Juno" in preparation for writing their Remembrance Day poems for the Legion.
ELA 9B
The students spent periods 1-4 writing the bulk of their CAT tests. They will finish up tomorrow.
WARRIOR TIME
The new Warrior Time rotations started today.
FRENCH 8B
The students wrote their Avoir/Être quiz. We also did Chaise Chaud and they started to plan out sentences for their writing assessment. Some had time to type them on Google Classroom. If you were absent today I will be in my room at lunch tomorrow (Friday) to write your tests.
