ELA 7C
Today we went through the course outline for ELA. It is now posted on Google Classroom. Parents may see daily updates here and on Facebook. We also finished going through most of the student handbook. Please remember to bring 2 notebooks to class tomorrow in addition to your binder, pencil case, hand sanitizer, and water bottle.
Today we read "If You're Not From the Prairie" by David Bouchard. We looked at the rhyme scheme and discussed our own memories and ideas about being from the prairie. Then together we wrote a poem called "If You're Not From Canada." Then the students wrote one of their own. We also did some discussion about our families and things that are important to us.
