French 7B

The students started looking at the process of conjugating "er" verbs.

CONJUGATING VERBS

·        First you need to know the pronouns (pronoms). Memorize them.

LES PRONOMS

                                                Je (I)                                       Nous (We)

Tu (You (s))                          Vous (You (pl))

                                                Il (He)                                     Ils (They (m))

                                                Elle (She)                               Elles (They (f))

                                                On (One)

ER VERBES

aimer (to like, to love)

jouer (to play)

manger (to eat)

regarder (to watch)

To conjugate:

1.      Remove the “er” from the end of the verb

2.     Add the ending that matches the pronoun/pronom

AIMER – to like, to love

J’aime  (I like)                                  Nous aimons  (We like)

Tu aimes  (You (s) like)                 Vous aimez  (You (pl) like)

Il aime  (He likes)                            Ils aiment  (They (m) like)

Elle aime  (She likes)                     Elles aiment  (They (f) like)

                                    On aime  (One likes)

·        Second you need to know the endings.  Memorize them.

ELA 9A

Students had this class to put the finishing touches on the first draft of their book trailers.  They need a finished copy for evaluation tomorrow.
We also discussed the prologue and poem we are doing for the Unity Music Festival in April.

French 8B

We watched a video on Vandertramp verbs and then students continued work on their own videos.

ELA 9B

Students continued to search for photos for their Book Trailers.  They'll have one more class tomorrow to search for pictures.  We also discussed the prologue and poem they are presenting for the Music Festival in April.  The poem is a Palindrome so the 9A class is presenting it one way and the 9B class is presenting it the opposite way. Below is a video of the entire poem with both perspectives.

French 10/20/30

The students continued working with holidays and the associated vocabulary. They asked questions of each other's presentations about a holiday.  We went through the sentences they wrote yesterday and they are now planning out how to use their props (to be here Thursday or Friday) in an iMovie about a holiday they enjoy.

*Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day so wear your green!
