We finished up and corrected a practice sheet on Dr. & Mrs. Vandertramp verbs using etre.  The students did 3 questions as a formative assessment.

ELA 9B

We went through the Romeo & Juliet exams.  The students also worked in groups using the rubric for the Book Trailers to evaluate some book trailers.  Next class we'll start storyboarding our book trailers.

French 10/20/30

We finished up last week's café presentations and began discussing holidays.  We also reviewed strategies to use when reading:
1. look for words you know
2. look for words that are similar to English
3. look at any pictures
4. think about if what you are reading makes sense
Then the students read an article on Le Fanal, a celebration, which occurs in Senegal near the end of December.  We also read some facts about Noel and Le Jour de l'An in France.
