Students started presenting their monsters. If you have not e-mailed your monster Pic Collage to Miss Riddell do it before Thursday's class. We'll be having an exam on body parts and monsters on Friday, March 11th.ELA 9A
Students chose the format for their Book Trailer (iMovie or PhotoStory) and had a few minutes to start finding pictures. We also went through the Romeo & Juliet exams.French 8B
We finished up and corrected a practice sheet on Dr. & Mrs. Vandertramp verbs using etre. The students did 3 questions as a formative assessment.ELA 9B

We finished up last week's café presentations and began discussing holidays. We also reviewed strategies to use when reading:1. look for words you know
2. look for words that are similar to English
3. look at any pictures
4. think about if what you are reading makes sense
Then the students read an article on Le Fanal, a celebration, which occurs in Senegal near the end of December. We also read some facts about Noel and Le Jour de l'An in France.
